Socks: Finished, in progress and to come

I think that these are my favorite socks, I finished them a few weeks ago.
Jaywalkers
A pair of Jaywalkers that I finished a while ago in Socks that Rock “Lapis.”

Socks WIP Pile
Wips: Waving Lace in STR “Queen Rock,” Winter’s Eve in “Bleeding Hearts” for my mom and Insideout (February’s Rockin Sock Club shipment) in “Monsoon.”

This is my STR stash (Top to bottom, left to right):
STR Stash
Tiger’s Eye (Medium weight), Rare Gem (light weight) from the last shipment of the 2006 Rockin Sock Club, Walking on the Wild Tide (Silkie), Rare gem (light weight), Philosopher’s Stone (light weight), and Rolling Stone (light weight).

The Philospher’s stone is destined for a pair of modified Wyverns, WotWT will be a pair of Knee High to a Grasshopper knee highs (I might need to order more yarn). I’m thinking that the Red Rare Gem might be a pair of Baudelaires and Rolling Stone will be something from Favorite Socks. I’m undecided what to do with the other Rare Gem and the left over skein of Tiger’s Eye. I was thinking of doing Central Air pattern from the Rockin Sock Club but I really want a pair of Monkey Socks.

Also in the planning stages: Bayerische socks in Stonestone, Embossed Leaves in Harvest Moon, and a pair of Gryffindor socks from left over Stonestone and Lover’s Leap. I’ve also been itching to try the Scottish Highland colorway but I don’t have the slightest idea what pattern to use. I think I might be using my 10% off coupon from Blue Moon on my next order.

Lots of wonderful socks and lots of pretty yarns!

Are there any particular patterns you don't like, or that you've already knit for yourself? Just wanting to get a little idea of what pattern to knit for you.

I'm envious of your STR stash--great colorways and your finished socks look great too :)

It sounds like you have some grand plans :) I think you were knitting those Jaywalkers when I met you! They look great :)

All this lovely STR yarn, I'm envious.. I knit my Scottish Highland yarn into some rpm Socks (Knitty.com). Since the yarn will create some stripe-ish effect when knitted as a sock, the purl spiral works really well with that.
